Find the strength within us and stand strong to fight. When there is no one else around, no one else cares for us, we cannot give up on ourselves. But if it leads to failure and nowhere else, find your strength in “love”. In our quest of finding a hero, to realize our dreams, it is great if we can find a perfect life. During this Christmas time, we buy gifts to others a lot – don’t forget to buy ourselves something because our body and soul is somebody that most truly deserve our attention most! Those who love us want to see us happy & healthy, and the best way to show our love to them is to live a happy life. The truth is we have to love ourselves first because if we are not taking care of ourselves, we will hurt those who love us. Many people think it is important to sacrifice themselves and treat other better, and that’s true love. Without self-love, we should not even able to love others. While there are all kind of loves, the most important love is self-love. So in the end, we are responsible for our own actions, and there’s no regret and nothing to blame. We are in charge of our own fate and whether our decisions lead to failure or success, at least we have chosen the path ourselves. We have to find our own path, and there’s no need to follow someone’s shadow. Sometimes if we can’t find our hero, we have to press on and trust ourselves. No one wants to be alone if they can find someone to depend on. No matter how independent a person or how strong a person is, we are humans, and loneliness is one of the scariest feelings in this world.
Right and wish this hero will guard us for the rest of our live. When we look into a relationship, we want to find Mr/Mrs. As we get into adulthood, we may fantasize we can be as good as some hero we see in the social media. When we go to school, maybe we see an inspiring teacher as a hero. When we are young, our parents are our heroes. I think we are always on a quest to find our hero, and this hero can change over time. This part is probably most relevant to everybody. I never found anyone who fulfill my needs
It was one of my happiest moments to be at that age (~4-7) Yes – these have become nuisance, annoyance, and frustration in an adult’s ear, but I think it is important to remind ourselves that these are precious moments and we should accept them because these innocent moments will not be with them anymore once they grow a few years older. It reminded me of the good old time when I was also crying over small little things, jumping up and down, running in and out, making senseless noises. When I looked at the kids’ laughter and their innocence, it really reminded me of myself when I was their age. Let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be” “Give them a sense of pride, to make it easier Investing in children’s education and teach them to appreciate life is important. They are the next generation that will drive us ahead. Show them all the beauty they possess inside”Ĭhildren are always the future of our world. Teach them well and let them lead the way In recently year, after being around children more, I started to see a golden line (will refer to it later) within the lyric that really gives me a sense of enlightenment, almost gives me Goosebumps, even!Īnyway, here’s my attempt of dissecting the lyrics in my own interpretations: This time, the lyric itself has captured my attention. When I became proficient at English and coincidentally heard the song again, I found a sense of familiarity and nostalgic filled my soul. However, the tune and the music must have internalized and lived inside of me for years in dormant. At the time, I did not even understand English. I can’t remember the first time listening to this song, but it probably was when I was very little as a young child. Unfortunately, she was taken by the deadly disease in 1986, at the age of only 37. It was the time that she really needed to find her strength to succeed, and also passing her strength onto her children. When Creed was filling in the lyrics of the song, she was facing one of biggest challenges in life – breast cancer. The song was written by Michael Masser and Linda Creed. “The Greatest Love of All” was popularized by Whitney Houston in 1985, the year that comes to recognize my first moment of being on Earth.
